Explore the vast world of art, modern and past, at the Muscarelle Museum of Art, a university-run art museum that displays collections of pieces that help illuminate the human experience, one piece at a time. Some of the most renowned collections are the Colonial American and the 17th & 18th century European portraits collections, but the museum displays everything from German Expressionist works to 20th century Japanese prints as well. Located on the campus of the College of William and Mary, the museum is just a mile west of Colonial Williamsburg.
