Colonial Williamsburg honors America's veterans with a parade down the Duke of Gloucester Street on Wednesday, Nov. 11, which is observed nationally as Veterans' Day. The parade willprocess to the green behind the Courthouse of 1770 and a public ceremony to honor America's veterans will take place with militia and cannon crew firing volleys in honor of those who have served in America's military forces. Colonial Williamsburg's Fifes and Drums will perform tunes as a salute to the veterans. Speakers from the past and present will add their tribute to the day's ceremony.
